We believe that giving is ultimately an expression of our worship to God, who is our true treasure, and an active renouncement of the idolatry of money. Offering, tithes, and donations are expressions of God’s grace in our lives, an overflow of thanksgiving to His gospel of grace. Giving is to be compelled by joy in entrusting the welfare of others and ourselves to God andfaith in God’s provision (2 Cor. 9:6–15).
