The Men's Ministry is grateful and privileged to invite Roy Kim, certified sex addiction therapist, podcast host, and former pastor for a 3-part workshop titled, WHY DO YOU LOOK, to address the common battle against sex and porn addiction. Roy loves having honest conversations about the struggles that keep us in shame and how we can let the Gospel in to display the stunning grace of God.

Here are the dates and themes of each workshop :

1st Workshop (Sat, July 13th, 9AM-11AM)
Roy dives into the questions of HOW and WHY we look at porn.

2nd Workshop (Sat, July 27th, 9AM-11AM)
What does the research tell us about the detrimental effects of sex/porn addiction?

3rd Workshop (Sat, August 10, 9AM-11AM)
Explore successful methods to overcome our addiction through group accountability.

Brothers, this is an important and powerful event for us all to learn and challenge one of the most enduring battles that has separated us from truly experiencing and accepting Christ's love. We encourage you to join us and be blessed!

Sisters of LivingWay! Let's gather to connect with our fellow sisters and dig deeper into studying the truth that declares freedom upon women from all the lies of the enemy. We are women of all ages and all life stages with the shared passion to love Christ and love one another. We are going to host a book club over the summer studying through a book called 'Lies Women Believe and The Truth that Sets Them Free' by Nancy DeMoss. We will meet at 2-4pm on 7/27, 8/10, 9-11am on 8/24, 8/31, 9/7. Sign up on the link above if you plan to attend.

We invite you to our Friday night Bible reading event. The goal is to read through the entire Bible in a little over a year. This month we will be reading through 1 and 2 Samuel at 6 pm sharp. People can come and go as necessary but we estimate the whole event should take roughly six hours.
Location: Upper Room (up the stairs from the parking lot by the kitchen/cafeteria)

Scripture makes it clear that parents are primarily responsible for the discipleship of their children. At LivingWay, our passion is to partner with parents in this call by equipping them to make disciples of their children. We do this by facilitating family-integrated corporate worship experiences, providing parenting classes and seminars, and engaging our kids in an intentional discipleship process that involves both the church and family partnering together to make disciples of the next generation. We are still collecting funds for our Beyond the Building Campaign, to help move our church towards the vision of becoming a rooted presence in our community.
